General Santos City, Philippines— A hot meal and a helping hand can mean the world to children who long for stability and care. This spirit of compassion filled the St. Agnes of Montepulciano Children’s Home, Inc. as Mamastill Atbp. and foodpanda Philippines joined forces for this year’s Pay It Forward Outreach Program.

The children’s home, founded in 2009, has served as a safe haven for 30 children and youth, ages two to 22. Many of them have been orphaned, abandoned, or displaced due to family hardships.

St. Agnes not only provides shelter, but also fosters holistic development—teaching the children life skills, values, and a sense of community that empowers them to embrace their future with hope.

foodpanda supported the orphanage by donating a month’s supply of groceries from Robinsons Supermarket, while Mamastill contributed freshly prepared meals for the children and staff.

Mark Anthony Camposano, owner of Mamastill Atbp., emphasized that Pay It Forward is more than just about donations; it is about presence, empathy, and commitment. “We visit different communities in GenSan and Davao to share food and small donations.

foodpanda has been supporting us for nearly three years now. Pay It Forward is more than a feeding program. It is our way of honoring social responsibility and staying rooted in the communities we serve,” he said.

For foodpanda, the initiative is part of its continuing mission to contribute positively to the lives of Filipinos, even in areas far from the country’s capital.

“Beyond delivering food and groceries, one of our roles is to help nourish communities in meaningful ways,” said Lew Lopez, Director of Public Affairs and Public Relations at foodpanda Philippines.

“Through programs like Pay It Forward, we’re thankful for the opportunity to care, share, and bring hope to children who deserve support.

It’s a privilege to reach communities as far as Mindanao, and we’re grateful to Mamastill for making us part of their CSR—showing these children that they are truly part of the foodpanda family,” he continued.

The partnership between foodpanda and Mamastill is not new—together, they have reached multiple communities across General Santos and Davao over the past years.

What makes this year’s effort special is its focus on children in need of special protection (CNSP), reminding everyone that small acts of generosity can bring comfort and dignity to the most vulnerable members of society.

This initiative is also aligned with foodpanda’s broader commitment to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal #2: Zero Hunger.

By supporting feeding programs and extending food access to underserved groups, foodpanda takes a step toward building a future where no child has to go to bed hungry.

As the outreach in General Santos showed, collaboration between local organizations and private partners can create ripples of kindness that last beyond a single day.

And for the children of St. Agnes, the support means more than just food on the table—it is a reminder that they are not forgotten, and that brighter days are always ahead.
